Amal 930 Air Filter Threads

Hi...
I'm wondering if anyone knows the specification for
Amal 930 air filter threads on the carburetor...
Are they Unified Inch, or British Standard/Whitworth?
Diameter I think is 1.75 and looks like 24 threads/inch.
If inch, I'm assuming 60 degree threads.
If BS/WW, 55 degree...
Any definitive info? Thanks in advance.

Hi I don't know I'm afraid, but I will move this thread over to our classics, vintage and veteran forum, where there are a lot of folks with some good knowledge about amals and so on. Cheers!

I've never had reason to check the threads on the Concentric carb where the filter mounts up, but I would assume since every other thread on the carb is either BSF, or BA, that the filter threads would be BSF.
