I have the Triumph leather saddle bags on my 2007 Black. Had them a year new now. It didn't take long before two buckels came off and one saddle bag began to tear where it connects at the top to the part that joins the two bags. Anyone else have issues with their leather bags? I have it at the shop now and they are looking into replacing them for free. Anyone have them replaced at no cost? Thanks in advance.

I got a set cheap and then found out why.

They are made of the leather equivalent of "particle board". I think they grind up all the leather scraps they can scrounge and press them together with non-waterproof glue to make the straps.
