Out of action
Guys,
Sorry if I've missed a few threads over the last few weeks, but I just found out I have a broken back. L5 vertebra busted in 2 places, with a compression fracture as well. Only just back on my feet, and not sure if I'll be able to ride again.
I can still type though....

8 years ago, when I was 49, a semi rearended my Road King, knocking my A#$ through a long intersection. When everything stopped, I was lying face down next to the rear wheel of the cab. My back broke at T-11 and evrthing on me hurt like hell. After a lot of therapy I was back at work in 6 months, on restrictions. I was riding again after 9 months, but couldn't go but 15 miles. Then 20 miles, after a few months 50 miles. It still hurt bad.I went on a couple short trips in the last few years. I can ride my old 59 650about 50 miles, and my 1100Yamaha about 200 miles aday, lots of stops, max. So there is hope, just ease back into it, only you will know. Good luck, with your recovery.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune. Do try to pay some attention to your doctors. They get the big bucks for a reason. May God Bless You with a speedy recovery. Carl
