One piston ring gone,, top of piston split apart,, where ring groove was ,,,thank you ebay..Do they still make piston pin bushings? was going to change bushing, pistons and cylinder jug,, clean up the head,,, what do you guys think??

How bad was the piston split. A friend of mine who has been a Triumph man for decades told me if I ever holed a piston to change the rod too. Something about if the top of the rod was exposed to the high temp combustion gasses, it would weaken it bad enough that it would come apart at the rod bushing. If your cylinders aren't too badly scored, they can be bored to a larger size. I think I've seen up to .080 oversize available.
