T120R Need help, advice, and suggestions on how to rebuild

So, I got this bike handed down from my uncle who died in 1986 when i was 6. He had JUST finished rebuilding the engine, and it has sat in parts in storage since then. My family has just deemed me "old enough" and a man to take on the task of rebuilding and claiming this boke as my own. Heres the catch, I have no mechanical background at all. I am dead set on rebuilding this bike as a tribute to my lost uncle though.

If anyone has suggestions or and pointers they can offer I would appreciate it greatly. i have pictures of all my parts, and have a Haynes guilde to kind of point me here and there. My biggest question I guess is where I can find parts, I need an entire new electrical system, and I'm assuming the brackets to attach the engine to the frame are not there since I cant seem to find them anywyere. I have the engine in the frame now, but no holes match up wich is why I assume there are brackets...I've been told the Haynes guide kinda sucks.

Well any help would be appreciated, please let me know, or send me an email vittoriovamp89@yahoo.com

Thanks!

Do you know what year the bike is? Do the frame and engine numbers match? The numbers will say what year it is.
Frame # is stamped at the top of the left front tube going down from the steering neck.

Engine # is stamped on the engine's aluminum block, on the left side, just below the black cylinder fins.

I can help you with anything you need, as can several others on this forum; however, you need a parts book besides the shop manual.

Can you post a link to your pictures? If you don't have a photo account, they are free on picturetrail, photobusket, flik'r and others.
