Unhappy 71 Tiger650 Oil Pressure Drop

On start up oil pressure is 80lbs/idle 20lbs/Riding 60lbs.After a short ride (5miles or so when motor gets to temp)pressure drops to 5 to 10lbs at idle/20 lbs when motor is reved up.All gauze filters are clean enough to eat on.Oil Return spigot is spigotting fine.Pressure relief valve has correct spring length piston works smoothly in the bore.Primary has proper level of oil/When I drain the sump it only contains about 100 cc of oil. There is no oil seeping into the area of the points.I assume timing cover seal is good.Anyone have a suggestion as to what's going on?Bike has 9100 origional miles.

AOK 80psi cold/65-80 at normal running speed/20-25psi at fast idle with a hot motor.

Sounds fairly normal.

What you need to be concerned with is VOLUME.

Low volume at high pressure is not good.

Moderate to high volume at low pressure is not bad.

Everything will be alright in the end.
If its not alright, its not the end.
