wiring/placement ideas

Beginning to install the harness on the 69 Tiger (no previous wiring). Decipherinng the schematics from the service manual is not too much of a task.
I have the Sparx three phase w/electronic ignition (can run original points, not sure why I'm drawn to it). Also have the Zener/Rectifier eliminator. Where is a good or common place to mount these wonderful contraptions where they get the proper air flow, etc? Is there room around the battery box (or not enough air flow? Forward under the tank?
Have a friend who mounted his Zener/Rectifier eliminator under the seat frame because he is not running a stock oil tank(totally bobbed); I don't have that luxury since I like most of the stock look for these bikes.

I put my black box between the tank. I've seen most peopel put the zener eliminator behind the battery holder or in fornt of it.

Quag,
Many thanks for the info. Glad to have a place to start from; should be able to make it work.

If you want to keep the stock look, you can leave the condensor on, disconnect the wires, and hide them. Then I think someone around here said there is a zener replacement that looks just like the old one and fits in the same place. Gives you the stock look with a fully modern EI.

I left my zener and capacitor alone and just replaced the points and condensor. Everything works fine. I have the zener replacement but I haven't installed it. Not sure what it would do for me.
