T120 parts interchange

I've got a 64 Bonneville Trophy that I'm putting back to stock after the PO made it into a hardtail bobber. Not my style at all. Going cafe with it. What I need to know is what parts like subframe, swingarm, fork, triples, tanks, etc can interchange between the models. Years and models please. Any help is greatly appreciated!

As long as you have a drill, grinder, torch, welder and assortment of hammers, they are ALL interchangeable.

Actually, many will swap out without modification. That's going to be a heck of a list!

P.S. Is it a Bonnie or a Trophy? (not that it matters) As you see, Bonnie & Trophy parts are nearly universally interchangeable.

You can use any fork, but the 68-70 650 and Trident or 68-74 500 are dual damping shuttle valve type, better handling.
Rear frames 63-65 use rigidly mounted oil tank. 66-on used rubber mounted tank and different mounting for 66-67 sidepanel, changing again in 68 to rubber mount. The rear frame follows the mounting style....63 is an oddball, with the peg mounts on a tapered lug on the rear frame section. 64-65 used the rigid oil tank and eyebolt mount on the sidepanel. 66-67 use the rubber mt. tank and tab to battery box rail mount. 68-70 used a rubber mounted side panel easily removed and less likely to crack. Fuel tanks all interchange 63-70. Battery boxes are the 63-65 and the rubber mounted type 66-70.

Wow, thanks! I won an auction for a 63 subframe and swingarm, so thats covered. I'm actually going to sell everything on the bike except the frame, engine, tank, and the new sub and swing. I'm heading different direction than restoration. And definitely not chopper/bobber. If anyone needs anything PM me. The classifieds on here kinda suck for pre-96 bikes.

As I thought, they are the newer style.

I'll pass, thanx.

That is one DIFFERENT hadlight mount!

Correction, the 63 main pegs mount to a tapered lug on the MAIN frame, not rear frame. You seem to have 71-72 internal spring forks. Oil in Frame.

Huh? The frame is a 64. Numbers match to the engine. Maybe I don't get what your saying.
