Clutch disassembly TR5T

I'm helping a friend of mine work on his 74 Trophy Trail. We are almost ready to reassemble the clutch after taking care of a kickstart problem, but the basket and center are still together. Do we need to separate these in order to replace the roller bearings? If so, how is it done? As far as I can tell, there is no Haynes manual that covers this model, though I suspect the procedure is probably the same as that for a 1973 500. The workshop manual doesn't really describe how to separate the basket and center or replace the bearings, so we're a bit stuck.

Use a bigger pry bar.

I don't think there is anything to keep those two apart.
