Victory! at least so far

Followed the suggestions, i.e., cleaned up the ground side of the ignition amp circuit, new plugs, fully charged battery, and she started on second kick, and what's better, stayed running. Now to the more mundane crap, like lights, carb adjusting, etc. Thanks for your help, gents! Dang, I forgot how much fun riding is, I plumb scared myself! First ride in over 10 years, I'm ashamed to admit.

Thanks, Roy and Paul

Checked out your website, Paul, and it was impressive to say the least. I think you must know what you're talking about! I would like to get your book about old bikes, but the link always (not just on your site) directs my browser to passport, which gives a fatal error message when I try to log in. Have to ask my daughter about that, ha, ha. Getting too old to learn new tricks. Anyway, I think this is a great forum, have met a bunch of good people so far.

The link for the book is just my e-mail address.

You can PayPal $20 to grandpaulz at hotmail dot com and I'll send it to you.
