Exclamation 1971 Triumph Bonneville - Owners Handbook Question

Hi Guys,

I am a new member and I hope I am posting in the right place. Please let me know if this is not the case.

I have a 1971 Triumph Bonneville that was the first bike I ever road on at the age of 3 years old with my dad. He passed away recently and I was going through some things and I think I found the Original Owners Handbook from when he purchased this bike brand new. It came from england and shipped to canada and my dad flew there picked it up and drove it to the USA.

My question is, does anyone have a picture of an original owners handbook for this particular bike and if so can they upload a pic of it so I can see if this was in fact the Original Book.

If this is the original book, I would think it would increase the value of the bike.

If no one has a pic of the cover of an original handbook any advice on how to find out if this is the original book would be greatly appreciated. The book is the USA Edition. There is no date in the book as well.

Hope someone can help!

Hey bikrldy, there will be a part # on the cover, or at least somewhere. It will probably start 99-*****, give us this and we can have a look for you.

1971 Triumph Bonneville - Owners Handbook Question

Hi, thanks for responding.
Yes, it does have a 99 hand written number on it although its kind of hard to read. It looks like 99-0619 and then written below that number is 63168.
Also, if it helps it is from Engine No. DU.66246

These numbers again, are written on the book and very faded. Looks like pencil

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi. I had a 1971 Bonneville. I still have my original manual. I don't know how to post a picture of it. If you send my your e-mail I can send you an attachment of it. It is brownish-red color with white letters. Send me a private message.Pochie
