The rear spindle nut thread is shot. Anyone now the size and a source of a replacement.

A 30mm socket is not a bad fit on the nut.

I'd try any of the parts suppliers, I think the rear spindle was the same for decades.
Raber's, Baxter, british cycle supply, MAP, etc.
