Hi Bushy, do you mean the wire clip to hold the light unit into the rim OR the single screw which holds the rim to the nacelle adaptor? The wire clips I use are from greenhouse glass retaining clips, usually 4 or 5 at a time. The single screw / clamp is the same for normal headlight units and the long side goes to the rim, short side to the adaptor ring.
Roy.

Hi Roy
Having not had the original parts, I now have them and for the life of me I cannot figger out how the lot comes together. I'm referring to the light unite into the rim with the wire clips which are W shaped, (I believe there are different wire clips) and yes they are original Lucas parts. If I can get that part done the rest SHOULD be easy.

1}Place the headlight into rim

2}fit the top of the "W" into the curled part of the rim.(the part that pushes onto the headlight shell)

3} push the bottom of the "W" onto the headlight edge, making sure it sits in the raised metal holders.

The clips are spring loaded so will bend a certain amount.

This is how i do my T140, i dont know which Triumph you have.
