use of Unleaded gas in old Triumphs

Could anyone tell me if using unleaded gas in the old Triumph esp. 1976 will cause the bike to run poorly or cause any damage since leaded gas is no longer available. Thanks

No problems that I've found except in the earlier 60s bikes, just use a little lead additive.

DO NOT USE EXXON GAS. It's junk.

Use premium to avoid detonation. I use Chevron or Shell in both of my bikes.

Everything will be alright in the end.
If its not alright, its not the end.

Get the timing correct and retard it about 2 degrees. If and when you can, lower the compression. I have tuned 60's Trumphs $ BSA's(BSA's were less of a problem). Original high compression and advance timing mixed with low octane may ping at take off, Kicker kick back and firing when ignition shut off!
If it doesn't suffer these symptoms with the 'modern' gas, you're in luck!
