Thanx for the compliments, guys.

Actually, I've decided to ask $7,500.00 for it.

HOWEVER, there is a nice Triton project for sale on e-bay that the seller will consider trading for, if his reserve is not met.

Everyone who has known me around the forums for the last few years, knows that I had my heart set on buying a 952 from the moment I saw the first prototype photo. I even contacted them to see if I could buy an 880, then buy the new engine as soon as it became available; alas, not only were the engine mounts incompatible, they were never produced.

Excellent salvation! That sissy bar looks like a later Harley Sportster type. When was the last time it saw the road, running? Any idea?

It was running in the 80s, not in the 90s, but not sure on exact date it last ran.

Fantastic job on the bike! The photo brings back some mixed memories though...like the time my friend on his Norton was chasing my Ducati and ran off the road. While retrieving the bike we discovered the gearbox had locked. He had to suffer the indignity of riding pillion on my machine the hundred kilometres or so back home so he could pick it up by truck. Then there was another friend of mine who left a screwdriver in the crankcase while rebuilding one. It blew up, as did another friends who built one up using a mixture of 750 and 850 parts.

I remember endless battles with stripped exhaust port threads, oil leaks and failing gearboxes. The bikes went well when they worked with lots of torque, but the handling always seemed top-heavy to me.

They look great though.
