one forward, two back..
thought i would share an email i just sent to my friend, regarding my '69 T100S
that hasn't seen pavement in five years.. this was my evening in a nutshell last night..
thought some might relate to the woes of a shade tree mechanic.

Tiger update:
Sorted out spark…er.. had one coil hooked up backwards…
Added oil, gas.. attempted to fire.
Kick, kick, kick…
Compression feels weird.
Checked valves. Left intake not moving.
Pulled rocker box. valve jumped the pushrod.
Totally bent the pushrod.. shheeesh.. I’m such a dumbass.
Gonna call don today.. get new one sent.
I have to return my clamps anyways.. after all my fancy measuring, I got the wrong size.
