What exactly is it and why cant I find any info on it? I seached everywhere. Im trying to figure out exactly what motor is in my bike.

It's a 750, should be dual carb.

"R" is Triumph's code for export (US) models; some quote the "R" as specifying "Road" models (as compared to on/off road models).

According to the "Bonnie" book, that should be T140RV, aznd should be a five-speed. Depending on the serial number it could be anywhere from '73 on.

Hmm.. Thanks for the info. Interesting. My motor is a 4 speed and has a single carb.

You might have a re-stamped engine on your hands. Or a "bitsa" (bits-a-this and bits-a-that); not altogether bad, just different.
