Fired up

Hooked up the ground on the battery. Turned on the fuel petcock. Tickled the carbs until fuel showed on the ticklers. Set the air choke. Applied a little throttle. First kick fired and ran! What a machine. 68 T120R.

Ahhh, Yes. Another one on the road. That's what this is all about. Well Done !

With that power switchyard in the background, I'm tippin' the only electrical problems you'll have is if you run into a pylon....

As GP says that is what it should do. I have never understood those that complain about those bikes being unreliable.. whenever I needed a second kick, it always came as a surprise and I never had one that would not start and go. I very much doubt you will be seeing as big a percentage of modern bikes running in 40 years time.

You might enjoy the Hinckley vs. Meriden debate ensuing in the Twin Talk area.
