Numbers Question

Hello all. I see people asking questions from time to time trying to decipher numbers. Usually somebody knows. My questions is what books have this information? I would like to start educating myself better on Triumph's. Thank you.

Thanks for all the replys. My Triumph probably would not fit in here as it is far from stock. I bought the engine in a box about two years ago and have finally got everything fixed. It sat in a barn for about 15 years. It is a TR6C, 1969 cases. It is a chopper now with a 12 inch over girder front end and a custom frame.

But, I am also going to build a stock Triumph when time allows so I thought I should start reading up.

After rebuilding the engine I really like how the unit twin is desinged.

I also have a 1969 XLCH, which is visually stock. It has 4.625 stroker flywheels and a whole assortment of go fast goodies. Nothing like making folks on newer rides eat the dust of a 40 year old machine. I tend to like older vehicles that have a little sole to them.

Hey Bill, you don't need to have a stock Triumph to join in here! ALL are welcome.
Roy.
