Wiring Harnesses

I know a lot of you are more into the restoration thing , but for this bike (re: my dusting off my youth post ) thinking bout just doing my own harness .

bike's wiring is a mess and even though i've found a supplier for an ET harness , i'm not sure i'll be sticking with it . also hate the connectors .

anyone got a better solution ? anyone here done a custom harness with different connectors ? suppliers ?

For what it's worth, I throw out the wiring and rewire with a minimn wire needed to to run the engine, charge and lights. Clymer has some decent wiring diagrams. Take your time and do a clean, safe job. I think British Only has a fifth grader wiring diagram on their web site. My 59 runs off a mag so the ignition swith was simple. I have on/ off high/low headlite swith and brake and tail lite circuit, fused (no wires on the handlebars). The generator hasn't been rebuilt yet so it doesn't have a chaging systm yet.
