Johnquinell; The chainguard was on the chopper when I got it. That, to me, was rare. It fits perfectly and bolts like a stock one would. As far as I know, it is a stock 59 guard. It was all rusted chrome. I powdercoated it no gloss wrinkle black. I'll never spring the money for a correct restoration, it's a hobbybike and I can scratch the paint with delight!

that's pretty cool Red . especially turning a chopper into such a personal expression of what you wanted in a bike . i like it alot .

that bulb horn brings back memories of inspection days , when i'd clamp one on . (don't get me started about when they made turn signals mandatory) .

what's your other bike in that pic ?

That is one nice looking machine. The tire on the rear looks huge. What size tire and rim are you running??

ACEACECA The rear rim is WM-3 18. The tire is 4.5 x18 Cheng made in Taiwan. It fits, barely clears chainguard. Those tires are the Cheng vintage replicas.
