suggestions wantwd MAP#6510/preunit mount

I contacted MAP afew weeks back to buy thier oil filter. They sugested th MAP6510(The one that looks like a little grease gun) for my 1959 #026434 frame. It does not mount where they suggested it would(Top monting BOLT on passenger footpeg mount/ behind the mount). I guess they gave me directions for a unit bike. The top right passenger foot peg mount is a stud welded to the frame and nothing cannot be bolted behind it. If I try the lower passenger mounting bolt the frame loop is in the way. The only way I can see to mount this filter in a reasonable place is by drilling a hole in the passenger peg mounting bracket/muffler hanger, but I fear it woulb weaken the mount. Before I go into an unwanted hack job to mount this, I'm asking if anyone here has mounted one on the pre unit frame and where and how? I'll also have to make copper oli lines to prevent crimping of the hoses, because on the different angles the line has to travel to hook back up to the return spigot.

Another question, If it is mounted with a lot of line, say in front of the engine, will it reduce the pressure it needs to lube the top rocker lines?

MAP said it can be horizontal vertical or anywwhichway but loose! I think the problem with the mounting instructions is they are written for unit bikes, not preunit. Since I am not running the regulator under the seat, I mounted it vertical using a regulator tab. I got one more connetion to make befor it is finis. Looks like it will be ok.////// What model is your Beezers? I had a 64 T-Bolt in 1969-71 and built a 66T-bolt in 1988. Great bikes!! Got any pics of yours? I uploaded 2 pics of my 59, but I have no idea where they are ! They have to be somewhere in the TriumphRat net, but like I said, I haven't found them. Does any one know how to upload one [here]?
