Yep. Last night, I threw a new 928 on the T100 and made up a new cable for it. I still have some minor tuning to do (need a bigger main jet, the 200 in there is just a touch lean and I MIGHT swap the no.3 slide for a richer 2.5) but so far ... I'm pleased with it. The bike has a little more 'grunt' and, at least from the 'seat of the pants' dyno, maybe a little more 'go'. (don't hate ... you know what I mean!

)
Anyway, if you're considering going from your '600' series concentric to a '900' series, know this first. You will need a new adapter collar and air filter. They are different sizes. (I rigged it for now, but will order them up this week) You will need a different cable. The 626 I had went thru the top of the carb and the 928 has an 'adjuster' screwed into it and they are a different diameter. Other than that, it's as straight-forward as it looks.
The new cable decided to stick on me as I was going from 1st to 2nd thru an intersection and I dumped the clutch a little quick and actually got the front end off the ground at least 5 or 6 inches. I really didn't know the 500 had it in her ... I'm sure a tight motor would pull even harder. After lube-ing up the cable (that's what she said) I went for a little run just to feel it and am really enjoying the new carb!
