My friend has a 1968 tr6r with a serial number of DU73824. this bike has been converted into a chopper in the early 70's and has no idea of bikes origin. any info would be great. I was very impressed at the rapid response on my last question and am looking forward to talkin to you fellas'.
Well it was manufactured in 1968 DU68364 to DU85903 and is a Trophy (or Tiger as called in the US). It is a road going model as the "R" denotes the TR6R otherwise it would have been a competition model TR6C. Colour scheme is Riviera Blue and Silver, lovely bike.
