Hi
I've recently bought a US Import T140E to turn into a Street tracker/Scrambler type thing.
I have managed to junk lots of the bike already and having fun learning as I mainly restore Jap 2 strokes.
I now realise why Triumph went bust when trying to compete against the influx of jap bikes when you see the way these were built, I can only describe as agricultural!
He's a pic so far.........................
I'm doing ok but am stuck with a wiring issue.
The toggle light switch on the head light has these wires on it.........
The headlight, side light, tail light all work when the ignition switch is on but I have this loose white wire from the ignition switch...
that going by the workshop manual goes on to the toggle switch as well but when I attached to the switch the lights come on??
Any ideas? Can I just ignore it?
Cheers
