Lazy T100

I finally got the bike turned over and she sounds amazing; idles pretty smoothly. As soon as I go to take off down the road she wants to bog out, If I do get it rolling, it just wants to stay in idle, the second I go rev it, the engine dies. If I grab the clutch, it's smooth again and revs up just fine. the bike's been converted to an electronic ignition and I have a dual carb intake with 2 amal 930's. Any help would be great!

The 30mm carbs are too big for the 500 engine unless there has been major modifications.
Have the inlets been opened up to accept them?
Check the ignition timing, if idle speed is set to full advance, then when you increase rpm it will go way out of range.

Thanks Eman, just about to get started on her today, I was going through my waldridge catalog for a carb rebuild kit and realized the carbs wre too big.
I'm getting the coils checked out taday also. By the way, I really enjoy your work on the Horse. It's by far my favorite publication, I live very close to Windsor, and am hoping to get this bike tuned up and ready to ride to the smoke out this year. If ya got a sec, check out the picsof my 62 A10 chop I did last year. I wanted to send them in for the back talk section.

As for the mods for the carbs to fit, they have chrome intake adaptors on them so they bolt up just right.
