l have a t140 frame with number beginning with t140DEA. Does this mean it is a t140D made in may 1979 or is it a t140 made in April 1983? Any experts out there
It means you have a T140D built in May 1979. My 'D' is also an 'EA' bike something like 217XX but I am working from memory not always a good thing. T140Ds were only built in 1979 & 1980.
When I 'were a lad starting out in theatre work we used to send messages to the stage door keeper to page various made up names like rose bush, Anna daptor and so on . We got into trouble with Isaac Hunt
We used to do that at the bowling alleys, go to the desk and ask for Bob Hunt, when no reply we ask them to ask if anyone has seen his brother Mike. "Has anyone seen Mike Hunt? The college dorm was filled with magazine subscriptions under names like Claude Bawls and his brother Harry, Mike Hunt was one.
