Wheel Help Please

I just picked up some wheel assembly's for my 72 Tiger and while they are in good condition, the brake land inside the hub is very rusty, What's the best way to clean these up?

Thanks

TD

hi,
i think that you can take off most of the rust with abrasive paper(water kind)
after that the remaining rust will be erased by the brake shoes while braking
