Need to sell mint 66 Bonnie

I am trying to figure out what this bike is worth - I am moving out of the country and must unfortunately sell this baby..

1966 Bonneville completely restored by an owner of a Triumph dealer. The bike is 99.9% done. It took 3rd place at a recent concours in the post-war British category. She starts first kick and purs like a kitten. Everything is correct for an east coast Bonnie.

I had taken her to a dealer for a friend to see it, and a customer had hopped on to test the seat and play with the leavers, and asked the salesman what version of the Bonnie this was.. not realizing it wasnt new

Since the pictures, I have put about 200 miles on it. Total of 7800 or so. I have the tank pads, just not on at the moment. Any guidance on price is appreciated.

super clean. it's hard to say since a bike is worth what someone is willing to pay. which is a different amount every time. getting $8-$9K might be conservative, but realistic. it depends on how you plan on selling it, too. ebay, cycle trader, etc. in the Orange County cycle trader, it would probably get the above amounts.

Unfortunately that particular model isn't worth very much. But I see some parts on it I could use. Tell you what, I'll take it off your hands for, say, a grand.

East Coast?

I'm near Boston, and in the market for something like your bike. If you're anywhere near me, we can dismiss talk of shipping etc.

Once you figure out a fair price, let me know.

Looks beautiful!

I an in So Cal, I bought it originally from the east coat (towards it anyway). I mention that it is east coast because they came slightly different from the factory between west coast and east coast.. (my Father has a west coat bike, yet he did not restore it correctly, powder coated frame, chromed metal, etc).

I have seen a perfect 66 sell for 15k at a high end auction. Another has told me at least 10k. An old triumph mechanic told me this year was special due to unique tank and seat/grip colors?

666 - thanks for input.

This '66 IF RUNNING AS DESCRIBED, is easily worth $10K in most markets. I would think it would have fetched somewhat more at the Vegas auction, about $10K or maybe a bit less at Deland.

As far as LOOKS go, it certainly looks clean and complete.

I don't see how it would fetch less than $7,500, no matter WHAT venue.

I think you should shoot for between $10,000 and $12,000. If you are moving to the U.K. or Australia maybe you can take it with you. These bikes are getting much higher prices over there.
It's a great looking bike! Good luck.

I am in the auto export business and could easily send it to Englad or elsewhere. I am moving to Rome, Italy. Funny I didnt think about this before - but I am not in the bike business.

I was thinking 10-12 as well. She does run as described. Thanks guys.
