oil filter mounting/ bike starts
1959 Triumph preunit 650; Will the MAP oil filter fit under theseat, between the oil tank and tool box on the downtube? I do not have the regulator so I have a little exrtra space. I an't think of any other place to hide it.
There is a stud on the cross frame, nearly parallel with the center stand bolts. I havent' figured out what that stud is for. If the filter is short enough, I might be able to mount it on that stud?
Is there any filter from lawnmowers or other machines that can be used?
It hit 59 degrees today in Dayton Ohio. The old Trumpet fired on the first kick, second kick, and kept running on the third kick! It didn't even smoke! It has been sitting since November. What a cool bike!
