Denis McCormack was the first president of The Triumph Corp. also known as TriCor .
Based in Baltimore Md. Denis retired in what year I am not sure of but he came out
retirement I think in 1971 or 1972 when he saw what a mess Triumph was in mostly caused by then president Peter Thornton .Mr Mc Cormack somehow got Thornton out the job and
took back control for a short time trying to get Triumph back on the right track .
Frank Benson was the manager of the Parts Department .

Thumbs up Details?

What was the book that you bought? Where did you buy it from? That's pretty cool. What type of card is it...like hand writen or typed?

Up with the goods man..scan it if you can. That's really interesting stuff you got your hands on assuming it wasn't photo copied and put in every book made that year.

From the book TRIUMPH IN AMERICA Peter Thornton took charge in August of 1969 and Mr McCormack returned to Triumph on June 10,1971.

Note
Mr Lutz doesnt post very often but when he does his words contain words of Triumph wisdom and history.

Thumbs up Typed Card with hand signature

It is typed card that says:

Frank Benson
Best wishes for 1976 and

With the Compliments of Denis McCormack
I have been trying to few advanced copies of this book, just off the press in England,in time to sent it to a few of our loyal friends for Christmas. It is the story of which we can all be proud and your contributions and loyalties over many years are appreciated by me.

Signed Denis McCormack

And the card is taped in the book with a piece of scotch tape that looks about a hundred years old.
