What parts required to mount rear underslung caliper to 79 style high mount?

I did that conversion to my T140E.

You will need the caliper mounting plate, the torque arm and a later version swinging arm (or a bit of welding on your old swinging arm to make a lug to bolt the torque arm to). Plus various nuts & bolts.

I did the hydraulic pipe with Goodridge hose and suitable terminations. It is awkward to bleed with the caliper mounted high and I had to bleed the system with the caliper off the bike to get all the air out of it.

My bike has the Veglia speedo drive on the left side of the rear wheel, if yours has the Smiths speedo drive on the disc side of the rear wheel you will need to check that the speedo drive wont be fouled by the caliper mounting plate.

I did it on my '79 because I got a spoked wheelset. Hate the mags. So I needed to get an earlier swingarm. It bolted right up. Of course, the wheelset I got was complete including new master cylinders, calipers, spacers, and everything.

To go from under to over, you need the correct swingarm (or welding skills), the mounting plate, torsion bar and a longer brake hose.

Caliper Mounting

Thanks all for the info,
Will keep an eye out for an updated swing arm.
For now, will keep all stock as have replaced every component with new, including S/S Calipers & braided hose kits, front and rear. Waiting for fully floating discs on order from England, then will have quite a nice setup.
Fitted a remote rear reservoir by Brembo, for Ducati, & topped off with D.O.T.5 Silicone brake fluid.
