69 T100 choke question

Bike has no choke on it at handlebars, Should the air cleaner be removed and block the hole for easier start in cold weather (30-45F) ?
Thanks in advance for the help

hi ,
you don't need a choke on your bike!! just flood the carb(s) and a hefty kick !!
if your ignition is good it goes first or second kick

i agree..!
i too have a '69 T100.. S version...
just tickle the carb, and a hefty kick.. they start easy.

i suppose if you wanted to install the choke slide, the carb is already set up for it.. i'm sure the components are not hard to get..
some might even say the choke is one more thing to worry about..
vibration might make the the choke slide down during a long ride robbing you of power..

i've never had a choke on mine, and never missed it... -j
