Techgearheadfix for improvedproformancefix

Ok, don’t give me a hard time, please.
Any ideas how to improve performance to a standard 650 motor without major upgrades and costs, I noted on classic triumph racers that the carb is spaced out, (I was lead to believe this improves proformance), as is the photo on "tasty bits fitted", any suggestions. Let’s try passing around a few ideas.

I think Mecchanica has a "default list" that he pastes in every time this question is asked. I can't argue with him on any line item.

Me? (cheapskate), I like to stick with simple new stuff. Electronic ignition, OEM or Barnett clutch plates, high quality cables, totally overhauled carbs with chrome slides, OEM style straight-through mufflers.

Thanks GPZ, has this question been asked before? Yeah I am surprised Mecchanica has not responded. Maybe these comments will entice him.

This question has been asked MANY times before. Why not do a search for "modifications" or "mods"? Boundt to turn up a ton of threads, but it shouldn't take long to find one of Kim's posts. He's got the goods, for sure.
