Replacing camshaft bushes?

slowly been rebuilding the Tiger of the last few weeks and are now reassembling the motor. Everything has gone ok but I have replaced the camshaft bushes (right-hand side so far) and according to the manual the new bushes require no further machining/reaming after fitting. Problem is there is no way the camshafts will fit in the bushes. With a digital vernier they are approx. .100" to small. I fitted the bushes by the manual, heated case to 100 - gently, carefully pressed new bushes in (not butchered with a big hammer). Any body able to advise if these DO need reaming?

Hi,

any new bush, sleeve needs to be reamed acc. to the shaft it belongs to.
No matter which supplier. No matter what make we`re talking about.
