My mom always said if you can't say anything good about anyone than don't say anything at all.............Believe me I have nothing good to say about him at all!

But I can't resist just this once......I sent out all my tin work to get painted by him. 18 mos and many headaches later I finally got my stuff. Between His compressor dying, his oven dying, his father-in-law dying, and his father dying, I finally got my stuff. Well some of it was my stuff. He called me one day to tell me my tank was too rusted out for him to feel "safe to paint." For a couple hundred bucks he found another 1970 tank. What he didn't know is my uncle works for Paughco and I told mike I wanted the tank back so my uncle could fix it. After a brief silence on the phone, he told me that he cut my tank up for parts on another tank, since only a few pieces were any good. Incedently he pulled the same move on someone else here in the forum.

Eventually I got all my stuff back and he did a good job. I wouldn't say any better than anyone else but he did a good job. Due to my own stupidity, I need to repaint my front fender and I've already sent it up to Don Hutchinson, whom I should have used in the first place. Mike has a habit of telling you he only has a few months turn around and next thing you know a year and a half has gone by. That alone wouldn't really bother me but he ripped me off and stole my original tank. Also the crap he put inside my tank to seal it, peeled off after the second tank full. I still haven't been able to scrape all of it off.

Bottom line, I place this guy right up there with the parts dealer in Chicago. Avoid him at all costs. he can't be trusted.

6 months ago you should have started to worry.
By now you should have driven there and flogged him.
Get your tins and goto someone else immediately.

He does very good work. His business practices leave a bit to be desired. If you have all the time in the world and don't mind being ripped off and have you parts replaced then you should feel OK.

I'm done talking about this guy.
