Triumph Bonneville Special 140D

Im new to triumphs i have never owned one or ridden one, I have the oppertunity to buy one. the bike is in immaculant condition still all original parts it was born with 9900 miles on the clock, doctor owned and has several triumphs for sale this is the oldest one and a real looker. My question is in regards to the value of these bikes Thanks

If running right, with title, as described cosmetically, anywhere from $5,000 to $7,500.

Sorry that's a big range, but the market on Specials is funny; sometimes you find 'em for sale cheap, sometimes you can't find one no matter how hard you try!

I just bought one, 14K on the clock, all original except it has spoked wheels (which I prefer). Very clean, runs good, just needed a good major service after sitting.
I paid $3500.00 for it and am putting about $500.00 in it to make it as close to perfect as possible.
Really looking forward to getting it home to "play with".
