I felt compelled to brag to sombody...

1969 T100S Tiger...

Last night with wrench in one hand, and with the help of my good friend Evan Williams, and my cat supervising, I finished putting back together my engine in my apartment!
It only took four episodes of 'Band of Brothers'! Wooooo!
Pardon my gushing to all of you cyber-strangers, but I haven't had this engine back together in five years. For five years this engine has mocked my procrastination from across my small room, in my small apartment.
with new valve guides, and freshly lapped valves no less!
This coming weekend, engine shall go back in bike!

Woooooooo! -john, portland, maine

Way to go!
I once (years and years ago) rebuilt the engine from my Bug Eye Sprite in my barracks room in the Navy....took some logistics on inspection days.

Keep us posted on the light off!

Welcome to the forum.

DON'T SLOW DOWN.

Well, take enough time to do it right, but stop putting off the project and you'll not only have it back together, but detailed and properly tuned by the time warm weather arrives!

Great news. Keep us posted with the 'next' episode.
Bill, it's NOT a 'bug eye Sprite' the correct ENGLISH for a MKI is a 'FROG EYE SPRITE'.
