remedy for armor all

So the seller decided he'd Armor All the sidewalls of the bike I recently purchased. Lame, I know.

So what's your remedy for getting this crap off my tires so I don't have the misfortune of sliding out and dumping on my next turn?

I have the same problem. The previous owner did this because he entered the bike in shows. How dangerous is this? I was actually considering lightly sanding the tires.

Scrub with a brush and some scouring powder. It'll come right off. Don't forget to do the tread area just in case.

all I've ever been told is to never, ever put this crap on your tires. Yes, it's dangerous.

Scouring powder? Like, powered cleaner a la Comet?

Talking

Yes, exactly. It will clean your tires, your knuckles, all that good stuff. Plus, your tires will smell really good!
