Hello all, i've been reading old posts trying to find a good builder but most Intel is older so looking for some fresh numbers and builders. 1973 t140, planning on headwork, cams, rods, clutch and all that goes with it. Any one have some ballpark figures on who and how much? Want a first class job, I'll be putting it on the track so I don't want to grenade it! Have a ton of questions and welcome all advise
I've done a couple of late model Triumph overhauls, and a bunch of 60s big twins. Mostly restorations, so there are always additional considerations for race engines. PM or e-mail if you want to talk.
If you are looking for a dirt track engine try Johnson Motors Onalaska WA 360 985 0445. This is the home of Johnson Cams. They should now someone in your area qualified to do the job.
Much thanks Grand Paul and jontiac. I'love pick your brains if you don't mind? First, can someone tell me how to post pics? It will give you a look at what i'm doing.
Right now i'm figureine what to do about a clutch, chain or belt? I'm worried about shredding belts vs stretching chains. I heard Gene Romero replaced a chain after every event.
More concerned about the clutch slipping. Need it to bite and not let go
