carb or fuel injected bonnie?

Hi,
If you had the choice of a 2007 carbed bonnie or a 2008 fuel injected version which would you choose. Probably easier to change pipes with no carb rejetting. Is it just the loss of the classic look that would make you choose the carbed version?
Thanks,
Ingramatic

Probably better to ask this in one of the 'Twin Talk' forums, this is the forum for Meriden bikes.

But since you have asked, I am considering buying one of the new Scramblers. The fuel injection sounds good to me, if only 'cos word is that there is a significant improvement in petrol consumption. On a bike with a small tank, a few more mpg has to be a good thing. As far as appearance is concerned, the fuel injectors are styled to look like modern carbs, so you need to look closely to see.

Trouble is, I really dont like the black coated engine cases. The coating cracks, dampness gets under the coating, the casting corrodes, then the coating comes off in big flakes leaving the cases grey and powdery. (my Trident had a black engine when it was new, after going through an English winter or two it now has half a grey-ish white engine).
