Haynes service manual

Is the Haynes manual the best available for learning how to work on your bike? I have an 07 and the description says it goes up to the 865cc 05. I assume the 05 setup is the same as the 07? If it is not what other manual is out there that I can use to start getting my hands dirty? Thanks.

I prefer Cylmers manuals. They may be out of print for the oldies. I have both Clymer and Haynes for the Triumph 1963-19seventy something. The clymer is a very good tool. I have a Clymer for my 2004 Yamaha and it is as good. They get into detail with a lot of pictures.

I think Clymers is out of business, so you don't have much choice: Haynes or "Shop". I also think you belong on the new "Twin Talk" Forum. Get an "old" one and come on back!
