A Triumph triumphs over Harleys

So we can all feel better about our decision to ride vintage Triumphs. This was from a show with about 80 other bikes. Most were Harleys. I got best bike. 2 conformist Harley riders made sassy comments about the Triumph brand.

Cool

Congrats on the win-- Now, who was it who feels bad about riding a fine, well-handling machine that will out-corner any bloated tractor and has a thouroghbred heritage to boot? Certainly not something I've ever felt!

Well done!

There's a good lad, and a very nicely done bobber.

My eyesight is getting bad. Can you shoot us a pic with daylight? I cannot tell from your picture if you have a rear fender. Looking cool though.

Congrats, great looking Bobber. Can you tell me where the frame came from?

your eyesight isn't bad. i'll get a rear fender on it soon. i have a fiber glass model A spare tire fender. i have to cut it properly to fit.

the frame is stock up front. i cut off everything from the main frame tube back. i then welded on a rear section from british cycle supply. it was around $200.
