Hello,

I am posting this here as this seems the best place to start. I have a '79 Bonnie basketcase (cast wheels) which I will restify. I remember a long time ago seeing replica X75 Hurricane seat units for Bonnies, but now I can't find anyone who makes them. Does anyone have any leads for any companies still making these?

A number of years ago I saw a similar '79 Bonnie with a dark metallic blue seat unit w/blue flames which looked pretty good offset against the chrome. This bike also had a 2 into 1 and left a lasting impression.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Thank you.

Several companies do these but the only name I can give you is SRM who market the things for A65s

I seem to recall a website for some Aussies called Classic fibre glass which used to do all kinds of stuff as well

Good luck

You might find some leads by doing a search for Craig Vetter.

I imagine if anyone is still producing the units they would be licensed by Craig Vetter, the Hurricane designer.

Didn't the '79 Bonneville Special come with a 2 into 1 system from the factory? Am I thinking of something else? I know that the factory did make a 2 into 1 system at one point, so it might not be that difficult to find an exhaust system like that for your bike. Norman Hyde might make something like that.
