silly retro
of course the Triumph is better than the BSA(Bast*rd Stopped Again) where were you born Milwaukee?
adjusted for inflation it probably balances out holding value not making money.
Its kinda like real estate in 1973 I bought a house for XXX dollars in 2005 I sold the house for YYY dollars. the difference was XYZ dollars a large
increase. Yet to purchase a home in the same neighborhood it would cost the same or more than the one I sold. where did I make any money?
I didnt get into bikes to make money and THE MOST I paid for any Triumph I own is $1500 ( My 70 T120RT I got for $250 as a rideable? basketcase ). When and if I sell a bike after repairs cost insurance I doubt if I will make any money. I purchase the bike its because I like it period and trust me aint no way I'll pay the prices you quoted. maybe I'm cheap but they arent worth that kind of money.
However if you want my RT the discussion starts at $65,000 and I'll throw in my signed copy of TRIUMPH IN AMERICA.( note I didnt say who it was signed by)
MONEY TALKS AND BS WALKS
