I was recently flooded in Yorkshire and was in process of restoring a tiger cub

the engine got filled with water - so I need to strip down
but on taking out sump filter I have found a lot of metal - some aluminium some bronze colour

I am presuming I need new bearings,,,,and possibly piston rings

so questions:
in UK how much for rebore and pistons/rings ?
how much would I likely pay for crank grind and new bearings?

or
could I fit new rings....and new bearings....and skip rebore and grind....could this work??? I only anticipate very occasional use....

any help would be great - and anyone to contact...either shop..or someone doing odd bits of private work???

I posted this 3 weeks ago - surely someone on the forum rebuilds bikes - or are the prices of new bikes killing this off...

any advice or contacts would be very helpful
