Mine always has been a ***** when it sits a week or two. I use the method I got on this web. I have a loop made of a plastic wire tie in my jacket pocket. While I'm getting ready for a ride I slip out to the garage and pull the clutch lever in and slip it on. Most cases it free's up in 1-2 kicks. Pain in the butt whether it's a new Triumph or and old one. I try NEVER to shift with the motor running if I can help it. I don't recommend freeing the clutch up with it in gear either, done it twice. Makes you look stupid :brk:

My bike sometimes sits a week or two at a time before I ride it. Usually it takes at least 3 or 4 kicks to free the clutch. However, by the time I turn the switch on to start it, it usually has built up enough oil pressure to turn the light off. So I'm thinking maybe getting some oil circulating before the engine starts might be a good thing and its not all wasted effort.

Everything will be alright in the end.
If its not alright, its not the end.
