Ever have this happen?
you push the switch all the way in (should be off) and the brake light goes on..
but with the switch all the way out, (pressing peddle down and no longer touching the switch) (when its supposed to work) it doesnt..
in the neutrual position without pressing on the rear brake (switch is in a little) it does nothing (thats nomal)

I tried to switch the wires and cleaning it and it didnt fix problem..

I think its a bad switch.

Yep, I'd say you have a dicky switch, or someone's put the wrong one in there.

Should be NC (normally closed with no pressure on the button). Pressing the button 2/3 down through it's travel should cause the contacts to go open.

Never seen one go opposite - more likely to go completely open. Interesting.....

I'M GOING TO SOUND LIKE A FOOL, BUT...IS THERE ANY WAY THE SWITCH COULD BE MOUNTED WRONG WAY ROUND? CRAZY, I KNOW, BUT I HAD TO ASK.
