I recently bought a 1954 T100 in Thailand. The front end didn,t look quite right and I discovered that the triple trees don't match. The fork tube holes on the lower one are about .2 inches farther from the yoke center than the upper one giving a raked front end and a bind in the fork tubes. Does anyone know where I can find a matched set of triple trees for this bike. I think 54,55,56,57,& 58 will work. I have been watching ebay but nothing yet. :???:

What is the parts situation like where you are at? In other words are later model say 60's to 70's eras available? Are you trying to keep bike stock or a runner? do you have a 54 parts book?

There are only a few Triumphs here and no spares. I want triple trees that will work with the nacille.

Ok
Then we shall approach the problem making the assumption the bike is 'relatively' stock or that is the condition you desire it to be as you are going to use the nacelle.
Need you to confirm the bike is a 1954 T100 Tiger with a swing arm at the rear wheel. And that your frame/engine number falls between 44135 & 56699
If you have the upper and lower trees (also known as top lug and tree and stem) off the bike can you see any casting numbers on these parts? look for a number on the top one POSSIBLY a H663 or H665 or something like that. also check the lower one possibly a number like H970. Whatever you see there let us know. As I do not have a 54 parts book I am making some guesses as to the casting numbers.
If any one has a 54 parts book could they advise us of the correct parts numbers for the trees. Also is the top bearing race a 97-0437 (H-0437) or 97-0438 (H-0438) using a dust cover 97-0407 (H-0407)?
If any one has this info I would guess the race on the lower tree is an 97-0439 (H-0439) with two 97-0111 (H-0111) going into the steering head.
