I know this isn't the want ads, but I figured all the vintage stuff was here so I decided to post an ad on this forum also.

I am looking for a TR6R engine, no Bonnie motors please. Tiger or would consider 500 daytona single carb, running or not, basket cases or whatever you got. Top dollar paid. Peace.

Single carb, less fiddly.

Only "Northern" can answer correctly.

I would take a tiger head if I could get one. I have 2 T120 motors already, single carb more reliable for the longer runs.

Why would a single carb. be more dependable than a set of doubles? Just because there is twice as many parts? I would think that both would be dependable if they're in good condition and well sorted. I've heard you get better power in the top rpm ranges with the duals. Besides, what would you fiddle with? I think the duals look better on the customs. JMHO
